Here at Broussard Grove Baptit Church, we consider our children to be a special blessing from above. Therefore, we take Children's Ministry very seriously.

We firmly believe that Satan will do whatever he can to get our to our children and influence them against Christ and against serving Christ. Therefore, we take every opportunity available to minister to them and to teach them God's Word.

Our Sunday School Department is broken down into divisions. Each division (class) is designed to meet both the spiritual and physical needs of its particular age group. Classes are staffed by volunteer teachers who are trained and dedicated in teaching God's Word to children. A variety of methods are used in teaching which creates an atmosphere of interest and excitement for the children.

Our Children's Choir meets on Sunday afternoons during the school year. In choir, children are taught fun songs which teach the Bible. They get to perform at least one major musical production per year. Our Children's Choir is staffed by qualified leaders who love leading children in making a joyful noise for our Lord.

In Awana Clubs, we have a club for children ages three through the sixth grade. Children are motivated to learn Scripture by receiving awards and recognition for completed work. They also get to participate in outings and projects for credit in their handbooks.

On Wednesday nights, we offer a time of games and fellowship beginning at 6:30. For children, 4th - 6th grades, who are intersted in participating in the 2005 Bible Drill Competition, the team practicies at 6:30 each Wednesday night. At 7:00, the mission classes begin (G.A.'s, R.A.'s, and Mission Friends). During this time, children get to visit other countries and learn how God's work is being there. They also get to play fun games and participate in great missions projects.

In addition to these regularly scheduled activities, we offer a wide variety of events and activities through out the year including Vacation Bible School and Kids Camp.
